Description:
This species is native to Peru.It is a columnar cactus, remarkable for its sky-blue epidermis and yellow-brown spines, which can reach 8 m in height, and ramifies towards 1 m. Its epidermis is blue green in color and its stem is 30 cm in diameter.

Culture:
It is treated like most cacti. It lives in a very light compost made of garden soil, compost and sand, a good drainage of the bottom of the pots is essential. It should be noted that cactus compost is also suitable.
