Pumpkin Giant Pumpkin From The Atlantic -
12 seeds - Vegetables

Description
This variety can produce very large pumpkins - the largest can grow to over 1,500 lbs and more than 6 feet in diameter - it is widely used in competitions.

CULTURE
Sow the seeds form the end of March - can, individually in modules / pots

Sow directly where plants are growing outdoors in June

The spacing of the seedlings is very dependent on the size you want the pumpkin to grow but a minimum of 1.5 - 2 meters is a good starting point

Before planting enrich the soil with a lot of well-decomposed organic material, making a small mound for the plant to sit on is also recommended.

Once established, you should "stop" the plants after 2 - 3 fruits appear on the vine. Stopping with a single fruit will eventually make a larger fruit, but the fruits will be more prone to splitting.

These are very hungry plants so one feed per week with a tomato-based fertilizer will encourage bigger fruits.
