Description:

This large shrub 2 to 3 meters high is a rarity native to Bolivia of the family Asteraceae
It has large, oval, ribbed, evergreen leaves and bears spectacular flowers like bright orange thistles from February onwards.
There is little information about this plant in the literature or on the net because it is very rare
To my knowledge the only copy in metropolitan France is at Parc Saint-Bernard in Hyères les Palmiers (83)

Hardiness: Supports at least -4 ° C. To be tested for lower temperatures
